Description:
Machine will be complete with Mixing Bowl, Mixing Blades, Granulator, Pneumatic Discharge, Motor, Gear Box, Operating Panel and the Control Panel.
Mixing Bowl:
The Mixing Bowl is cylindrical with a large diameter and flat base. The Top portion of the bowl is conical in shape to assist circulation of cohesive powders. The Bowl is fabricated from S.S. 316 Quality Stainless Steel with all internal and external surfaces polished to mirror finish.
Top LID:
Pneumatically Openable (except RMG 50 & 100LTRS) type lid consists of charging hole, air filter and special type silicon gasket.
Mixing Blade:
Mixing blade consisting of two Nos. full and two Nos. half blades specially designed for intense mixing. The angles of the blades are such that half blades lift the material and full blade pushes the material. Continuous action of this with the different ingredient immensely mixes thoroughly with homogeneously. Mixing blade assembly is mounted on main shaft with separate bearing housing which fully eliminate any chance of cross contamination of product with any lubricants. The upper portion of the housing contains specially designed Teflon seal along with air purging facility. Lower stage housing contains bearing along with oil seals that make it completely leak proof.
Bearing Housing:
The bearing housing of the main shaft connected to gearbox by means of heavy-duty chain coupling. Chopper blade assembly consists of a separate baring housing coupled to motor by means of flexible coupling, with Teflon impregnated gland packing and air seals.
Granulating Blade:
A high speed Granulator is inserted horizontally through the wall of the bowl to assist blending of powder and to break the lumps of the products in to granules of required sizes. These lumps are formed while wet mixing.
Discharge Valve:
Machine has a side discharge outlet with pneumatically operated. The discharge valve is exactly matching the profile of the intervene bowl with perfect sealing arrangement. Pneumatic cylinder housing is specially designed with swivel type arrangement, which helps for easy cleaning. Safety interlocks are provided to discharge valve as well as top lid with limit switches.
Machine Base:
Rigid Machine base frame made from M.S. Square pipe is designed to accommodate the mixing bowl and the control panel. The motor V belt drive and reduction gear are also housed in the frame. The machine base is totally enclosed and removable flush type S.S give access to motor gearbox and belt drive inside and machine base. Removable S.S. Cover finished mirroring finish on all side of the machine base frame. Inside of the M.S. base frame duly epoxy painted to avoid any rusting. The bottom of the base frame duly covered with M.S. Sheet. So that any oil or dust from belt should not fall on the floor.
Electric Control Panel- Main Panel:
All the main Circuit like Switchgears, Relays, and MCBs etc. will be contained in a S.S. Panel box and kept in Non Flame Proof area.
Process Timer:
SAMS make Process Unit with programmable digital timer, auto mode indicating lapsed/balance time etc.

Pharma industry manufactures bitter tablets which are difficult to swallow by patient, for which conventional Coating Pan was done and mostly sugar coating was done, but the coating efficency depended on the operator. But as time passed a PLC controlled Coating was required by the industry where all the parameters like inlet air was to pure with 20,10,5, and 0.3 micron hepa filter, the spraying was to be done Peristaltic Pump and air was to dry and dehumidifier was incorporated also the fumes going out had to be treated with scrubber. The Base Plate of Pan is S.S.304 6 MM thick. The Pan is provided with 3 Baffles for 36 inches, 4 Baffles for 48 inches. Machine is made of thick MS angle frame, totally enclosed with SS Cladding with Standard Gear Box, Motor and Hot Air Blowing arrangement outside. Fabricated structure and all arrangements - except electric control, air filter and SS Pan are inside the enclosure, which makes simple cleanable outside covering. Machine is mounted on dynamounts which avoids foundation.
All Riddhi Coating Machines are provided with interlocked electrical circuit so that heaters can be operated only after blowers are made "ON" to avoid burning of heaters. SS Coating Pan mouth ring is welded at their rim cavities to avoid collection of dirt or contaminated drug. Riddhi Coating machine can be provided with Redicon / Elecon Gear Box and NGEF/ Remi Siemens Motor and all electricals controls are of Siemens or L T make. Thermostat control can be provided on demand. On Customer demand , Gear box and Electricals including motors can be provided local make for economic purpose.

Operation :
It operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction. Material fed in the hopper goes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Finally the processed material gets collected in the container kept below the processing chamber. Output and quality of the final product depends on three main factors :
(1) Shape of beaters (knife/impact edges)
(2) Speed
(3) Screen
Description :
Unit consists of S.S. 304 quality hopper and processing chamber (can be provided is S.S. 316 quality at extra cost) with beaters assembly, motor, reversible switch, DOL starter, four speed step pulley, Suitable screen with painted pillar mounted on base plate, with castors.
Salient Features :
Direction of beaters can be changed by reversible switch from knife to impact forward and vice-versa. All contact parts can be easily and quickly dismantled and cleaned. Machine is designed for continuous operation. Cylindrical screen for higher output. Castors provided for mobility.Flame proof electricals can be provided at extra cost. Beaters and scrapper blades of SS 410 quality are hardened and hard chrome plated.

Description :
Latest improvements in design makes this unit a truely GMP model and Versatile in operation & maintenance. Unit consist of S.S.304 quality hopper, feed throat and processing chamber (can be provided in S.S.316 quality at extra cost with beaters assembly , heavy duty motor, star delta starter with overload relay, three speed step pulley, suitable screen , S.S. cladded base having tubular legs with castors, optional jacket for the feed throat and processing chamber for cooling.
Operation :
Product kept in the hopper slide down to the enclosed chamber, where it is milled in between beaters and screen to the required mesh/micron size which can be collected at the bottom of the container.Quality and output depends upon the three main variables

Construction
The Mixer consists of Mixing drum complete in itself. It contains mixing drum body. Mixing paddle and sealing arrangement. The drum rests on rigid M.S. fabricated body carrying Motor, Gear box, Starter and tilting arrangement. The drive of mixing paddle is through suitable oil filled worm gear unit which in turn get drive through V belts from a suitable T.E.F.C. motor. The blades of the paddle are so arranged that thorough mixing is obtained. All parts which are in direct contact with the material to be mixed are of S.S. or neutral material. The main paddle runs in journals and supported by thrust bearings of ample size to carry rigid and thrust load. The whole drum of mixer makes ease of cleaning. The rotor is so designed that it can be removed , by removing the main shaft without much problem.
Plastic Dust Cover
The material under mixing process can be apparently seen from the Plastic Dust Cover of the container at all times and it, being hinged and holding allows solution to be added through without difficulty while the mixer is in motion.
Safety
The plastic dust cover is so interlocked that on opening the cover the motor automatically stops. The interlocking system is given to avoid the accident as the machine will not start unless and until container is totally closed. This is of utmost importance in a machine like this which has revolving blades.
Tilting Device
The Tilting Device is provided to ease the unloading of the material. Tilting is affected by means of a hand wheel on the body, the powder or granules being tipped into a container which can be placed at ease.
Sealing Arrangement
Specially designed self-adjusting sealing arrangement of unique design is provided to ensure that no black particle enters into the Mixing drum. However, little powder from inside may come out some time after a long use which suggests cleaning and readjusting of pressure springs.
Lubrication
Provision is made for lubricating all moving parts and specially designed to prevent oil coming in contact with the powder.

Description :
